Sunflower Education Systems exists to strengthen schools by designing inclusive, structured, and sustainable educational systems that empower educators, support diverse learners, and prepare students for lifelong independence and success.
My career began in early childhood education, working as a paraprofessional in a self contained classroom, from there I evolved into being a teacher and a special education lead for my campus. In 2014, I founded and led Head Heart Hands Preschool a mission-driven program grounded in whole-child development. Through that experience, I learned that culture, structure, and leadership determine whether a program simply functions or truly flourishes.
Transitioning into public education and specializing in autism programming, I have led structured teaching classrooms, developed visual systems, facilitated professional development, and supported behavior intervention and crisis response teams. Over time, I recognized that sustainable student growth depends not only on individual teacher skill, but on aligned systems, leadership clarity, and intentional program design.
Sunflower Education Systems was born from that realization, a desire to support schools in building frameworks that endure, empower educators, and elevate student outcomes.
